Metal Art isn't really work for me. It's been a passion for many years. I love the creative licence to bring ideas to life without rules & boundaries, unlike my 'day jobs'.
The appeal is being able to combine skills, tools and idea's to build attractive designs that dovetail nicely with my passion for all things mechanical, especially motorbikes and automotive.
Many, well 90%, of the parts i use have come to the end of a particular working life. I think it's best they get a second chance so i resurect & repurpose them.
Scrap metal, gears, cogs, sprockets, chains, gearbox internals, pistons and conrods are my ingrediants. Welders, grinders, files and hammers are my cooking utensils.
